Corrosion-resistant, mechanically robust and providing long-term stability
Mineral insulated RTD cable with nickel conductors
Mineral insulated RTD cable with nickel conductors is used for temperature measurement up to 600°C. Nickel conductors have a higher annealing temperature, making them suitable for high-temperature applications. Kamet supplies nickel conductor MI RTD cable manufactured by Okazaki in various sheath materials, diameters and conductor configurations.

Specifications of Okazaki nickel conductor MI RTD cable
- By Japanese manufacturer Okazaki, made with Japanese and European sourced materials
- Supplied with a material 3.1 certificate
- Suitable for high-temperature applications
- Corrosion-resistant and mechanically robust applications
- Providing long-term stability and reliability in harsh environments
- Provided in coiled form but can be ordered as straight lengths, which may show a slight curvature.
- The wall thickness is typically a minimum of 10% of the cable’s diameter.
- Flexible enough to bend around a mandrel with a radius at least twice the sheath diameter, maintaining sheath integrity and insulation resistance.
- The sheath allows for welding, brazing, or soldering without affecting insulation resistance, provided standard precautions are observed for the specific metals and thicknesses.
