Type N bare thermocouple wire
Type N bare thermocouple wire is a NiCrSil-NiSil thermocouple wire for temperature measurement from -270°C to +1260°C. Kamet supplies Type N wire in IEC 60584 Class 1, with diameters from 0.20 mm to 3.20 mm. The wire is supplied with a 3.1 material certificate and calibration certificate and is suitable for inert and oxidising environments at temperatures from 1000°C to 1200°C.
Compared with Type K, Type N offers greater measurement stability while providing the same stated accuracy and temperature range.
