Type E mineral insulated thermocouple cable uses NiCr-CuNi thermocouple conductors and has a temperature range from -270°C to +900°C. Technical specifications of Okazaki AerOpak® Type E MI cable
- Available in IEC EN60584 class 1, ASTM E230 special limits or AMS2750 E
- Provided in accordance with IEC 61515 standards
- Supplied with a 3.1 certificate and a calibration certificate
- All raw materials used are sourced from Europe, America, or Japan
- Delivered as coils; straight lengths can be ordered and will have a bow or curvature
- Wall thickness is a minimum of 10% of the cable diameter, as per IEC61515; other specifications are available on request
- Wire OD is a minimum of 15% of the diameter for simplex, duplex, and triplex, as per IEC61515; other specifications available on request
- Can be bent around a mandrel with a radius equal to twice the sheath diameter without rupturing the sheath or losing insulation resistance
- Sheath can be welded, brazed, and soldered without affecting insulation resistance, using normal care for the metals and thickness involved
- Specific dimension tolerances such as h9 are available upon request, according to the ISO system of limits and fits
