Kamet supplies type T mineral insulated cable from Okazaki. AerOpak®MI cable is available in a range of diameters from 0.5mm to 8.0mm and conforms to IEC EN60584 class 1 & ASTM E230 special limits. It is supplied in accordance with IEC 61515 standards and comes with a 3.1 certificate as well as a calibration certificate.
Type T, Cu-CuNi thermocouple is a very stable thermocouple for cyrogenic applications in particular. In general, it has a small temperature range in comparison with other thermocouple junctions: -270°C .. +370°C. Type T, Cu-CuNi mineral insulated cables are well suited for cryogenic use due to its high stability.
AerOpak®cable is delivered as a coil but can also be ordered in straight lengths. Furthermore, the sheath can be welded, brazed, and soldered without altering the insulation resistance, as long as normal care is taken for the specific metals and thicknesses involved.
